What is IASTM?

 

Instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization is a technique used to release muscle tension, reduce pain, and also can produce quick results in a short space of time. Wonderful fo tendonitis, plantar fasciitis, and many others. It is also used for a limited range of motion, motor control issues and pain during motion.

 

 

 

 

Muscles with chronic pain can build up scar tissue, this tissue creates stiffness because the muscle fibres have healed in the wrong direction. IASTM breaks these fibres down through controlled re-injury. The technique helps the fibres reheal in the right direction with the right amount of care. Helping the muscle recover and free up movement
