Your Glutes Are Strong, Or Are They?

Updated: Dec 30, 2020

Your glutes are very important that's why I test them all of the time. Inhibited glutes means that the connection between the muscle and brain has become a little unstuck. What happens then? Back pain, hip and knee pain and even stiff ankles. The glutes are powerful thrusting muscles so when they become inhibited other muscles take up the slack. So if a muscle is taking up all this slack pain can be the result.

Tips 1. Don't sit for longer than 20 minutes 2. Keep active and get at least 30 minutes of brisk exercise a day 3. Keep mobile, Yoga (flexibility) and Pilates (strength) or Yogilates, is great! 4. Test yourself with my side plank video: https://goo.gl/ciMgKs if your hips are sinking you need to tighten up

5. See a Chiropractor to know what you need to do
